Hard Ferrites

HF magnets also known as ceramic magnets, are made of a sintered composite of powdered iron oxide and barium/strontium carbonate by die pressing and then sintering. Hard Ferrite magnets are easy to work with and well-balanced in their magnetic properties. In addition, they have excellent corrosion resistance with a normal working temperature range between – 40 C to + 250 C. Due to the low cost of the material and manufacturing method, HF magnets are relatively inexpensive and are the most widely used magnet today. While the magnetic strength is higher than, for example, AlNiCo magnets they are typically much weaker than NdFeB magnets.

VTLG Magnet division is the first Asia-based German supplier of custom made magnets for industrial applications. For inquiries and requests please contact us at: magnet@vtlg-asia.com. VTLG specializes exclusively in supplying made-to-order magnets for industrial applications according to each customer’s requirements. For requests, please provide an engineering drawing including information on the dimensions, tolerances, material/magnetic grade, coating and magnetization direction.
